Sasuke opened the door when Neji knocked on it. Sasuke stepped a side and let Neji in. They sat down in the main room. Neji sighed.

 

 

“Tell me what happen last night,” he said.

 

 

Sasuke told Neji everything that Naruto did and said.

 

 

“You’re lucky that Naruto didn’t go all out on you,” said Neji, “he has jutsu that could have easily killed you.”

 

 

Sasuke’s eyes widen.

 

 

“And he was already strong to began with,” he said.

 

 

Neji nodded.

 

 

“I need to go speak with him,” he said, “just stay as far away from him as possible.”

 

 

Sasuke nodded. Neji left and headed toward Naruto’s place. He knocked on his door. Naruto opened it. Neji came in and sat on the couch.

 

 

“Tell me your end,” he said.

 

 

That’s exactly what Naruto did. Neji sighed.

 

 

“The clan thing was a low blow,” he commented, “but that wasn’t what set you off. It was all the attention, praise, and the way Sasuke reacts to all of it that did it…wasn’t it?”

 

 

Naruto nodded. Neji was always good at picking out what the real problem was.

 

 

“I told him to stay away,” said Neji.

 

 

“Okay,” said Naruto, “what is my punishment?”

 

 

“You get just today off,” answered Neji, “then you’re helping me with the newbies.”

 

 

Naruto groaned.

 

 

“Hey,” said Neji, “you brought this upon yourself.”

 

 

Naruto whimpered and nodded.

 

 

“Just enjoy today,” Neji said before he left.

 

 

Naruto slammed his head on a table.

 

 

Please kill me now, he begged to no one in his thoughts

Sasuke decided to take a walk for most of the day.

 

 

“Can you believe that Naruto/” someone angrily asked.

 

 

Sauske looked and saw two girls talking.

 

 

“I know right?” asked the other girl, “the nerve of him to attack Sasuke like that.”

 

 

Sasuke’s eyes widen.

 

 

How did they find out!? He thought.

 

 

There was a bunch of girls yelling behind him Sasuke looked. A huge angry group of his fan girls were yelling at Naruto. Naruto shook his head and jumped up to the roof tops. Sasuke watched as Naruto ran to the Hokage’s tower. Sasuke frowned.

 

 

I hope he’ll be okay, he thought.

 

 

OoOoOoOoOoOoO

 

 

All Naruto wanted to do is see Kakashi, but no. Somehow people found out about their little fight. Naruto sighed.

 

 

Can this day get any worse? He asked himself.

 

 

He stopped when he herd the elders speaking to Kakashi.

 

 

“Again we denied your request of Naruto being the Hokage,” said the female elder, “you have herd what he did to Sasuke Uchiha right?”

 

 

“He is fine!” yelled Kakashi.

 

 

“He wouldn’t be if Naruto release Kyuubi on him,” said the male elder, “thus another reason why he shouldn’t be Hokage.”

 

 

“He’s just far too dangerous,” said the female elder, “let us not speak of this anymore.”

 

 

Naruto’s eye twitched. He’s dream was snatched away. His body started moving on it’s own now. It took to the gate and out of the village. If they didn’t want him anymore then so be it.

 

 

OoOoOoOoOoOoO

 

 

The next day found Neji tapping his foot impatiently.

 

 

Naruto, you were suppose to be here hours ago, he thought.

 

 

The newbies were practicing on the dummies at the moment.

 

 

“He’s not here ether?” asked someone with a sigh.

 

 

Neji looked. It was Sasuke. He looked like he had been wondering around in a circle. Sasuke looked at Neji.

 

 

“You haven’t seem Naruto have you?” he asked.

 

 

“No,” answered Neji, “he was suppose to be here this morning.”

 

 

Sasuke looked around.

 

 

“I got worried when those girls attacked him,” he said, “then I found out that the elders don’t want him to be Hokage because of Kyuubi. Now no one can find him. It’s like he…”

 

 

Sasuke’s eyes widen.

 

 

“Like what?” Neji asked.

 

 

“Like he left the village,” answered Sasuke.

 

 

Neji’s own eyes widen.

 

 

“Oh shit!” he shouted.

 

 

Neji called off training and he and Sasuke went off to find Naruto around the village. Both prayed that he really didn’t leave. When they couldn’t find him they went to Kakashi.

 

 

“What do you mean he’s gone!?” Kakashi exclaimed.

 

 

“We looked for hours,” said Neji, “and he’s no where. He’s not in his apartment ether.”

 

 

Kakashi glared at the elders.

 

 

“This is all your fault,” he stated before turning back to Neji, “form a search party and look for him.”

 

 

Neji nodded. He and Sasuke left. The male elder opened his mouth to say something.

 

 

“Not a word,” said Kakashi.

 

 

The male elder closed his mouth.

 

 

OoOoOoOoOoOoO

 

 

Neji, Sasuke, Sakura, and Kiba jumped from tree to tree. Neji decided to bring Kiba along because he could sniff Naruto out. Sakura was with them due to her medical abilities. Sasuke wasn’t going to miss out on the search, plus he probably could last longer against Naruto then the others. Neji was the look out person. There was still some ninjas out there that would like to kill one of them. Kiba stopped. Arkamaru whined. Sasuke and Sakura looked. There was a huge gust of wind in front of them (if you played WoW [World of Warcraft] during Cata then think of that tornado Malfurion made in Darkshore).

 

They watched as it lifted a big tree out of the ground, roots and all. The strange part was that it was only in that one area. Everywhere else the wind was calm. Neji growled.

 

 

“Damn,” he said, “wind barrier.”

 

 

“Wind what?” asked Kiba.

 

 

“Wind barrier,” Neji answered, “it’s one of Naruto’s new moves.”

 

 

Sakura reached out to it. Neji quickly grabbed her hand.

 

 

“No!” he shouted, “the wind will rip your arm right off.”

 

 

Sakura nodded. Sasuke looked at it with his Sharingan while Neji looked from side to side with his Byakugan.

 

 

“There is no end to it,” Neji commented.

 

 

“Looks like Naruto doesn’t want to be followed,” said Sasuke.

 

 

Kiba sighed.

 

 

“Now what do we do/” he asked.

 

 

“We go back home and try again later,” answered Neji.

 

 

They did just that. It was weeks before the barrier died down, but by then Naruto was long gone. Search parties was sent out less and less ’till they were only sent out twice a year or when info about Naruto’s where about was given. Life went on for everyone else. Sasuke became Hokage and he married Sakura.. Neji and Tenten was together, same fore Kiba and Hinata. Sasuke sighed. The first search party of the year came back empty handed. Sasuke looked out the window.

 

 

Where in the world are you Naruto? He asked himself.

There was a man dressed in black pants, black ninja shoes, and a black hooded cloak with gold trimmings on a tree branch. The hood was up over a golden mask. There was small holes where the nose and mouth was. The man looked at Konoha’s gate from his perch on the branch. The man’s fingers wiggled on one hand as he watched the guards switch with new ones. He had on black leather gloves that was armored with gold. The armor on the fingers ended in a sharp point like claws would. Smoke came out of the small air holes.

 

 

“It’s time to have some fun,” the man said before he jumped off the branch and headed to the gate.
